Curriculum
At Upward Christian Academy, our curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong academic foundation while helping them view all of life through a biblical lens. Every student engages in core subjects including Bible, history, science, mathematics, and English. While these subjects naturally look different at each stage of development, our goal remains the same: to build knowledge, strengthen character, and develop students who live faithfully.
In addition to core academics, students participate in engaging experiences such as music, art, physical education, and library classes. We utilize many Abeka materials alongside select Faith Builders resources in grades 1–6. Faith Builders history materials help introduce students to a global and Kingdom-focused perspective while exposing them to church history through stories, discussion, and interactive learning experiences. Across all subject areas, we strive to provide an education that encourages curiosity, develops critical thinking skills, and equips students to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
