Career & Technical Training
At Upward Christian Academy, we recognize that students are uniquely gifted and called to different paths after graduation. As our high school program continues to grow, we are developing a career and technical program designed to give students meaningful exposure to future opportunities while helping them discover how God may be leading them to serve.
During the second half of the junior year, students will spend Fridays exploring a variety of career paths through hands-on experiences, community engagement, and volunteer opportunities that allow them to give back and better understand their interests and strengths.
As students enter their senior year, they will complete their remaining coursework on campus three days each week while spending the other two days participating in valuable community partnerships, internships, apprenticeships, work experiences, or dual enrollment opportunities. Whether students plan to enter the workforce, pursue technical training, or continue to college, our goal is to help them graduate with practical experience, greater clarity about their future, and a strong foundation for their next step.
